Renovating the "Feng Shui" Way

In the Black Sect Tradition of Feng Shui, there is a simple "cure" to use if you'd like to get the energy moving quickly in your home. They suggest you simply move 27 items. This is a standard method that many practitioners advise to their clients and has been found to be effective.

Some of my clients question the necessity of a Feng Shui lillian too Blessing prior to a renovation and after many years of practicing homes that have been blessed prior to extensive work and homes that haven't been, I am a firm believer that we should use these beautiful and powerful blessings before beginning any projects around the house.

If simply moving 27 items can stir the energy so fast, renovations where walls, doors, flooring and appliances are removed and changed can surely throw our environment into temporary chaos. I believe this is why so many people frequently run into unexpected problems when renovations have been undertaken without an appropriate blessing.

Sometimes contractors don't show up as promised or don't do the quality of work that was expected. More often then that, renovations take much longer then anticipated and unexpected problems arise when a home has not been blessed oftentimes causing the homeowners much more money then they had anticipated paying.

I advise my clients that the relatively easy method to bless a home has proven to be such a powerful tool that we often see projects going off without a hitch; many coming in under estimate. And they do not appear to create the chaos that I have seen over and over in homes that have not been properly prepared for such a big undertaking.

While the chaos does eventually dissipate, why go through it at all when it is not something that you want to create or call into your lives? Some of these very cures are actually published although they were never intended to be. Black Sect traditions were always handed down directly from Mentor to Student and because of that energy exchange, as it is known, the Tradition of the Red Envelopes evolved. Most of the blessings that are now written and widely published are not the original ones that were passed down to us. Sometimes the "ingredients" are different or they are performed in a different way. And when making any changes or blessings and cures, it is always important to infuse it with your energy of what you are seeking to create.

I never suggest beginning a project on your home or office without a Feng Shui Consultation or Blessing, or, ideally, both. If you've already begun, however, bear in mind that while there may be a few upsets along the way whether you have had a consultation or not, they will subside. It is just the effect of moving the energy perhaps too quickly.
